Until the unwanted thoughts creep in and take over. 

But I fight to get back to you

Night after night.

I pride myself on being able to read people. Always been pretty dead on at it, except with those who won't see the truth.

Occasionally, though, I'm wrong. So dead wrong that it shakes my confidence in every way. And it seems now is one of those times.

The one time being right would have been everything.

Her eyes, and her touch, betray her... 

But I will be wrong about this until I die. 

I'm sure of it. 

All else I see is accurate, 

But this... 

This will never be.

This requires a leap of faith she's not willing to allow anymore,

Despite her knowing it's not faith at all that's necessary,

Only acceptance.
